Cairngorm
Privacy

This website
The site's code does not set cookies, store visitor profiles, include analytics or send model requests. Fonts, screenshots and videos are served with the site. There is no signup, payment form or file-upload service.
To suggest an installer, the home page reads your browser's platform and, where the browser offers it, its processor architecture. This happens only in your browser: nothing is stored or sent, and no external release service is queried. Downloading an installer or opening a documentation guide is an ordinary request to this site's host.
The hosting provider still receives ordinary web requests, which can include your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time. The site's source does not control a host's access logs or retention; check the provider's policy once a public host is chosen.
The desktop app
Project records, calendar entries, preferences and workspace data are stored locally. Terminals and agents work with the files and programs on your machine. Local logs, test output and browser observation can contain private paths or content; review them before sharing.
The current implementation is a local workspace, not an account-based cloud storage service. “Local” does not mean all connected tools are offline or that sensitive local files are encrypted.
AI tools and providers
When you use an AI feature, prompts and relevant context go to the service you configure. AI commit summaries send selected changes; CLI verification sends a short model request. Each provider or CLI has its own privacy policy, retention practices and possible charges.
For a local model setup, the configured endpoint receives the request. Third-party CLIs and commands you run may make their own network requests independently of Cairngorm.
Credentials and your choices
Installed CLI tools keep their own settings and login. Optional integration scans read login status and save runtime paths; Cairngorm does not export logins, copy tokens or transfer subscriptions. API setup can save a key in local agent configuration or read its named environment variable. Protect that configuration and keep it out of Git, screenshots and public issues.
You choose the folders, tools and providers you use. See Settings & local data for configuration locations and API setup for key removal. Back up important work before deleting app data or resetting configuration.
